Employment Type: Full-time, 187 days
Primary Purpose To provide speech-language services to students as directed and supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), in accordance with Texas licensure requirements and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) guidelines.

Primary Purpose To provide speech-language services to students as directed and supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), in accordance with Texas licensure requirements and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) guidelines.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- Minimum 50 hours of fieldwork/clinical observation as required by TDLR for licensure
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings as directed
- Implement treatment plans and Individual Education Programs (IEPs) under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist with documentation, progress notes, and therapy materials
- Participate in ARD meetings when appropriate
- Support generalization of skills through classroom and home carryover activities
- Maintain clinical records in accordance with state and federal laws
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication needs
- Follow district, state, and federal policies and guidelines
- Travel to assigned campuses within the cooperative area
- Ability to lift and assist students as needed
- Maintain emotional control under stress
